TCI of New York officially opened their new expansion facility with a dedication ceremony in honor of Gaby Newmark a Co-Founder of the company. The 35,000 square foot, state of the art addition will allow TCI to add new capability to the existing production line expanding services to their customers the power companies and utilities throughout the Northeast.

Columbia County Habitat Executive Director Brenda Adams and TCI of NY President Brian Hemlock announced today that TCI has donated its property at 3049 Main Street in Valatie to Habitat. After the existing 2-family structure is demolished, Habitat will build a high performance energy-saving home designed by BarlisWedlick Architects (BWA).

TCI of New York, which prepares used transformers and other electrical equipment for recycling or safe disposal, has announced four recipients of its annual environmental scholarship award. The scholarships, totaling $1,000, are awarded to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence in science and environmental studies.
