Lisa Leone-Beers honored as a Top 5IVE changemaker of 2025!

The annual event recognizes and honors those who drive change in their communities and make them better places to live. Below is the write-up in the local paper:

Lisa Leone-Beers is a resident of Catskill and has worked at TCI of NY in Coeymans for the past 30 years.  She is active in the community as an honoree member of The Fortnightly Club of Catskill, where she has been co-chair of fundraising events for the organization, including the Rip Van Winkle Wine, Brew & Beverage Festival, and the annual holiday Festival of Trees. She is also a member of the Greene County Women's Cancer League, where she co-chairs the annual Cabin Fever fundraising event in support of area residents living with cancer. Leone-Beers is also a member of the Catskill SplashGround Committee, which oversaw the fundraising and construction process for the Catskill SplashGround.

At TCI of NY, Leone-Beers started out as a secretary to the president and worked her way up to vice president, becoming the company's first female vice president. She credits those around her with helping her on her career path.

"If it wasn't for the support from my peers and leaders and their faith in my ability to grow within my job, I wouldn't be the person that I am today," Leone-Beers said. "I love to surround myself with those like me.”

Leone-Beers studied at Columbia-Greene Community College and has two associate degrees.
